Koontucky has more than ten years of health testing
behind our cats.
We screen yearly for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
Our cats are tested for
MyBPC HCM Mutation and Hip Dysplasia
prior to being bred.
2008-2012
Yearly HCM testing continues. All of our cats have passed their 2012 exam!
2006
In addition to yearly ultrasound testing at Michigan State University,
we are now using DNA testing for HCM
